STL Bridge History
It's no secret that I am a fan of bridges.
Especially bridges over the Mississippi River.
Especially the suite of Mississippi River bridges down in the St. Louis metro area.
So I was exceptionally excited to come across this article:
LIKE A BRIDGE OVER MUDDY WATER
They are pretty much all represented:
Eads, McKinley, Chain of Rocks, MLK, Jefferson Barracks, Clark, MacArthur, Merchants.
Oh yeah, and the boringest one of the lot....Poplar Street.
My favorite: Chain of Rocks..... followed closely by Eads and Clark. and McKinley.
I enjoyed reading about them just about as much as I enjoy crossing them.
