Kudos to Hunter

woke up this morning to see this news story.......

"OAKVILLE, Ontario (Reuters) - Hunter Mahan turned his back on potential million dollar pay day walking away from a two-shot lead at the Canadian Open on Saturday to return home for the birth of his first child."

i am not a big golf fan.

and, i am definitely not a Hunter Mahan fan, having only heard his name mentioned during telecasts that i have been watching.

however, i am a "family man fan", rooting for any guy that sets aside his life and career to put his wife and family ahead of his own priorities.

in this case, as the story's headline says, "Mahan's priceless moment might have cost $1 million"

what a nice deal to see out of the sports world.... a world dominated by greed, selfish attitudes, and steroids.  passing up a potential win, with it's fortune and fame, to be aside his wife and cut the umbilical cord.

such a nice story to see, just 1 week after another great golfer family man, Phil M., won the British Open.

kudos to you Hunter !!!
putting your family first will never lead to regrets!

out for now....
