PET PEEVE ME 2
now that we've taken care of that.....
after a couple more weeks of thinkin', I have come up with some more things that really get on my nerves... what I would definitely consider pet peeves of mine. see how many of these you can relate to:
- internet pop-up ads, especially the same ad... over... and over.... and over
- junk e-mail of a sexual nature
- adults who do not make kids buckle seat belts in the car
- folks who don't turn off their cars when filling up with gas
- people who do not clear the trash off their table at fast food restaurants
- obnoxiously loud motorcycle tailpipes
- grafitti, especially when it's written/drawn in or on public spaces
- folks who "diss" Decatur; it's a great city !
- out of touch politicians
- stupid politicians
- homeowners who don't shovel the sidewalk in front of their house
- prerecorded phone calls, asking me to "press 1" to speak with a live operator
- lottery players who hold up the line at the gas station
- guys who pee on the toilet seat
- folks who feel they are so weak, poor, disadvantaged or "entitled" that they sit on their butt all day living off the government, when they should (at a minimum) be putting in volunteer time somewhere in the community
- gas station pay at the pump machines that are out of paper & don't print the receipt
- restaurant employees who don't wash their hands before leaving the bathroom -- YUCKO!
whew! that felt good!!
