see hear smell feel

Friday.  12:17pm.

What do I see?

- beautiful, warm sunshine

- Old Glory fluttering proudly atop Her pole 

- faint glimpse of the moon high up in the sky

- folks enjoying their lunch hour

- the first fallen leaves of the year lightly coating the green grass

What do I hear?

- asphalt equipment laying new pavement on the north side of Central Park

- a siren in the distance

- the rustle of breeze thru the trees

- traffic on Franklin Street

- the sloshing of water in Central Park fountain (which'll be turned off soon)

What do I smell?

- crisp odors of fall carried by today's delightful light winds

- and asphalt

What do I feel?

Blessed to be alive, outside, healthy, loved and blessed on such a beautiful Friday. Period.
