Lights of Arthur
Tonight, our family was out and about in the Central Illinois countryside anyway, so we decided to take a quick side trip.
Headed a little south.... down to Arthur Illinois.
Arthur, of course, is known for a few things.
Amish settlement.
Downtown shopping district.
The Great Pumpkin Patch.
We have now found a 4th thing to add to that list.
Their community Christmas lights display in Eberhardt Park.
No, it's not nearly as big and "glorious" as the one down in Mattoon or the really big one up in Peoria.
But, it's cute, quaint, and very well presented. Our family really enjoyed it.
Although not the best quality (due to the camera confused between the dark night and the bright LED's), here's a few shots of what we saw:
Well worth the trip! Another great Christmas memory for our family!
Out for now.....
