My better half met me for lunch today. We don't get the opportunity to do this often, but she was headed back from volunteering at a church event, so she swung by downtown.
We chose Jimmy John's, not just because it's fast service and downright delicious, but because there's lots of seating and it's relatively quiet. We can eat and have a conversation without feeling like the eyes and ears around us are participating as well.
Based on this picture, she was either:
a) unwrapping my sandwich for me
b) feeling the temperature of my sandwich
c) laying hands on my Turkey Tom
d) trying to squash my Turkey Tom
e) being mean and not letting me eat
Don't worry though.
In the end, I left with a full belly.
