As I was looking thru a bunch of old documents, I found a very bizarre ad stuck in with some papers I was tossing.

It's from "Family Health Magazine".

Likely from around 1976.

The "Gyro-Gym"!

I'm taking a wild stab in saying this was the 70's version of today's "Shakeweight".  Maybe?

The model they've chosen is a riot.  Look at that physique!  Look at that hair!  Yuck.

I love one of the testimonials on the ad:

"The Gyro-Gym with a little effort can change your whole life.  It gives you self-confidence and improves your appearance."

Really?

All that from swinging a weird little contraption around in your short shorts?  Truly a miracle.
