Picture 2/21: Old Maid

Today, the lovely Mrs. Honnold and I were down at the (small) antique mall in (small) Elwin Illinois.

I spotted something that brought back memories from years and years ago:

Growing up, we had this very same Old Maid card set.  (although I do not remember the rounded cuts on our cards -- I think they were straight instead)

The picture above shows some of the Old Maid's kids: Swinging Susie, Corny Carl, and Jumping Jack.

I remember a few of the others... Fly Boy Floyd, Fancy Nancy, Slim Jim.

It's a fun deal to spot old stuff like this that triggers great memories from the past.
