Although I live in downstate Illinois and don't get to or relate to Chicago very much (other than rooting for the Bears and Blackhawks), I enjoyed reading thru this piece.
Heck, the "Chicago definitions" for some of the 22 words are defined the same here in the heart of Illinois:
Snow Day.
Summer.
The Coach.
Just doing some thinking here....
what words would make a list like this:

How about:
