We celebrated Easter up at my in-laws today.
Every time we have a get-together up that way, it's always such a joy to have this guy in attendance:
Grandpa Cecil (my wife's grandfather).
He's 96... but is still so mobile for his age.
He doesn't drive any more, or travel much out of town.... but give him his cane, and he's off!
Today, he really enjoyed lunch and watching the girls hunt Easter eggs.
Cecil is the "reigning patriarch" of that side of our family. And such a peaceful, independent guy.
We all cherish being around him.
