For a couple weeks now, I've known that there was a new nest in one of our trees out back.
Tonight, I saw mama robin sitting in it.
So, I was curious and decided that I wanted to peek inside.
Mama bird was not happy.
Annoyed.
Angry.
She did not like me dragging my stool underneath her nest for a peek.
In fact, at one point, she perched about 5 feet above me and rained down either barf or stool my direction. Nasty.
But, it was worth it. Look what I saw.....
Three of the most brilliantly blue robin eggs that I've ever seen.
Congrats mama robin.
