I spent $3.50 today.
It's the best $3.50 that I've spent in quite some time.
Found this at the shop of Roger Minton in Delavan Illinois:
You might be looking at this and saying "whoopie, it's a license plate, Matt".
And I would agree.
A pretty boring looking license plate.
Yellow and red.
1985.
Big deal.
But to me, the "big deal" is the "1818" that appears on the plate.
Anyone remember 1818?
Specifically December 3, 1818?
1818 is the year Illinois was admitted to the union as the 21st state.
I think this is quite the find. I about pee'd myself when I spotted it.
Maybe I'm weird?
