It's much like the Monopoly game that McD's does every 18 months.
Except much more involved:
And you get a puzzle piece each time you buy a certain item, as identified by little "buttons" stuck to shelves around the store.
(example: yesterday I bought 8 gallons of distilled water, which was one of the "button" items; each gallon earned me a puzzle piece)
Each puzzle piece opens up to contain a coupon and 4 stickers. The stickers attach to the Treasure Hunt board, where you win a prize if you complete a set (just like McD's Monopoly).
The coupon can be 1 of 3 things:
- an instant win of cash or more puzzle pieces
- a code to enter on the County Market website for a chance to win cash or more puzzle pieces
- 50 cents off some item in the store
We are having a blast doing this thing, especially our middle daughter. She just knows that we're gonna collect all the stickers necessary to win an XBox, a computer, or a kitchen makeover.
Me? I'm just happy to have won $2 cash and a TV dinner.
