Patriotic American Brands

I came across the results of yet another fascinating poll today.

The Most American Brands In America, According To Americans

According to the article:
"More than 4,600 consumers, ages 16 to 65, were asked to evaluate which of 225 brands were most associated with the value of patriotism.”

The results:
1. Jeep
2. Levi Strauss
3. Coca-Cola
4. Colgate/Wrigley's/Disney/Zippo (tie)
5. Ford/Harley Davidson/Ralph Lauren (tie)
6. Apple/Gillette (tie)
7. Hershey's/Walmart (tie)
8. Amazon
9. New Balance
10. AT&T/Google (tie)
11. Gatorade/Marlboro/Sam Adams (tie)
12. Budweiser
13. Louisville Slugger/Smith & Wesson (tie)
14. American Express/Coors (tie)
15. John Deere/L.L. Bean (tie)
It's great to see Ford, Jeep, and Harley D in the top 5.  Those would have been 3 of my votes.

Coca-Cola is #3, but no Pepsi in the top 15?  Interesting.

Surprised that John Deere is so low.

And how/why brands like AT&T, Colgate, and American Express got in the top 15???  Baffles me.

Plus, where is Big Blue IBM?  My.... how they have fallen.

Out for now....
