I wore them for the first time tonight:
My Ripon Moccs.
To the girls' arts camp closing program at church.
What are Ripon Moccs?
Well obviously, "Moccs" are moccasins.
"Ripon"? Ripon, Wisconsin.
When the lovely Mrs. Honnold and I were up in the Dairy State on vacation last month, we spent a night in Ripon.
Ripon is a great community, with some neat history and awesome Wisconsin hospitality.
We were shopping the downtown district, and I came across these. Had never seen some like them before. So I used my pre-designated vacation "splurge bucks" on them.
They will be really neat this fall/winter when it's not so hot.
Cool weather = cool feet.
That's scientific.
