Consumer Reports is out with results from their interesting study of American fast-food.
They surveyed more than 32,000 readers who ate more than 96,000 meals at 65 chains.
Those who were surveyed had to look at five criteria to rank each chain:
food quality and freshness
value
politeness
speed of service
cleanliness of the dining area.
Based on these criteria, they then had to come up with a grade out of 100.
So, how did the rankings shake out?
Well first, the best of the best....
this year's Top 3:
In and Out
Papa Murphy's
Portillo's
And the bottom 5?
5 (tie) - Panda Express, Little Caesars, Domino's, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut
4 - Cici's Pizza
3 (tie) - Burger King, McDonalds, Church's Chicken
2 - KFC
and the worst of the worst of the worst?
1 - Sbarro

A few comments from me:
- Sbarro is bankrupt. Hmmmmm. Wonder why?
- Decatur had a Cici's. Staff were great. The place was dirty. Now closed.
- KFC as #2? Yes, ours is dirty, but the buffet is good.
- Panda Express. In the bottom 5? Seriously?? Can anything bad come from Panda Express???
