Some of those words are really troubling....
Aggression.
Dementia.
Mental Illness.
Addiction.
Here's what the author states.....
"As a pediatric occupational therapist, I'm calling on parents, teachers and governments to ban the use of all handheld devices for children under the age of 12 years."
"Ban" is a huge word. Prolly too huge.
And "ban" used in context with "government" is scary. The government doesn't need to implement a ban on this -- just like they don't need to implement a ban on huge soft drinks, plastic shopping bags, and "Happy Meals".
But, parents and caregivers do need to step-in and do more. A handheld is not a babysitter.
