We're all dragging this morning as we got home late last night from Springfield.
We were over there to attend this:
Performed outdoors.
Under the clouds.
In some drizzle.
But that was OK, 'cause it was awesome!
If you've never been to The Muni, the place is run entirely by volunteers. Volunteers who love bringing the arts to Central Illinois.
Everyone from the parking attendants to the ticket booth to concessions to janitors to stagehands to actors... volunteers.
And they put on an incredibly professional performance. The girls really loved it.
If you've seen the original Shrek movie, you know the storyline. But, this is a musical with all new songs that aren't in the movie.
Lots of singing.
Lots of action.
Lots of jokes.
A great night for $10 each!
