We came across this "sea of faces" today in an antique store south of Springfield.
So many people.
So many families.
Who were they?
Where did they live?
What did they do?
How did they die?
Are any distant relation to me?
For me, displays like this are one of the most depressing parts of our antiquing hobby.
Forgotten folks.
Displayed on a cheap rack in a dusty corner for $1 each.
Sad.
