Picture 8/9: Raining Acorns

We were down at the metropolis of Blue Mound today to attend their parade and grab lunch.

We found a beautiful, shady, uncrowded spot right along the parade route and set up our chairs.

It wasn't long before we realized that we were in the midst of a "drop zone":

I don't think any of us took a direct hit, but it sure made for some additional excitement.

There was a squirrel up there somewhere who simply could not hold his nuts.  I mean acorns.

Side note....

Blue Mound Lions Club.... your steak sandwich was AWESOME!
