One of the negative consequences of such a cool/mild summer was that the use of the pool didn't extend much past the end of August.

As deck construction continues, she (the pool) has been closed-up and winterized:

Although I love autumn and pretty much everything about the Christmas season, I look forward to "opening day" sometime next April/May.
