GMO's Go? NO

Maybe you've heard.

Maybe you haven't.

There's a major fuss taking place about GMOs.

GMO?

Genetically Modified Organism.

That's as deep into the definition of GMO that I'm going to go here.

If you want the facts, start by reading this:

Anyway, a vote was held recently by the stockholders of General Mills to determine the company's path forward with regard to GMOs.

Now, General Mills is huge.  As you'll read below, a "behemoth".

They make everything from breakfast cereals (Cheerios, Chex, Kix, Trix, Wheaties) to biscuits (Pillsbury) to ice cream (Haagen-Daas).

Look what happened at that vote:
But when the industrial food behemoth’s shareholders were presented with a proposal to dump all genetically modified ingredients from the company's vast lineup of brands, they responded with a resounding “no”.  The Minneapolis-based company said preliminary vote totals from Tuesday’s annual shareholder meeting showed that 97.8% of participants rejected the proposal.

It's good to see that a mere 2.2% of the shareholders have caved-in to the flawed thinking and mass-hysteria that are equating GMO foods with "Frankenfoods".

We live in a growing world.
We live in a hungry world.
Folks gotta eat.
GMOs help get that done.

Out for now......
