We were toolin' around Springfield today and were close to Washington Park, so we took a drive thru it.

Wow, it's beautiful.  Especially with the lovely fall colors.

We didn't have time to tour and ascend the big carillon, but I did grab this shot:

I would have loved to hear it play, but we were not there at the right time.

Ding-dong.
