Those of you who know this MattChat'er well are aware that I am a fan of baseball.

Not a gigantically huge fan.

But a big fan.

Best as I can determine, there were 5 or maybe 6 general-use baseball guides published in the year of my birth.

After our trip to Springfield last Friday, I now have 2 of them:

(I had found the one on top earlier this summer in Columbus, Wisconsin)

I'm still searching for the "Who's Who in Baseball" for that year.  A cheap copy is out there for me somewhere.
