I'm gonna try something new this winter.
Is it possible to take an ornamental grass plant out of the planter, transplant it into a pot, then keep it alive in the garage till Spring?
Hmmmmmmm.
Well, here's my attempt:
"Garage Greenery"
It is sitting right by a door with windows, so from a photosynthesis perspective, we should be good.
I had to cut thru an amazingly developed root system though. That no doubt really stressed the plant.
My biggest concern is temperature. It gets awfully chilly out in that garage on cold, dark winter nights.
Will it live?
Will it die?
Update coming in April, when I can hopefully transplant it back outside.
