We had a weenie roast tonight at the in-laws.

A chilly night.

But lots of fun.

Grandma Val set-up a scavenger hunt for the 5 cousins and sent them around the yard after dark (with flashlights) collecting plastic bugs and spider rings.

One of the girls came back with this in their collection bag:

Yes, a cicada.

A real cicada.

A very cold cicada at that.

Needless to say, everyone got a good laugh.

Cause Grandma definitely didn't hide that one.

Out for now.....
