Our youngest calls this her locker:
It's the drawer of one of the end tables in our living room. Shortly after we got the tables (2+ years ago), she laid claim to this drawer and has had "ownership" of it ever since.
It's a repository for all sorts of little critters, creatures, knick-knacks, thingys, and whatchamacallits.
All those things that make a childhood a childhood.
As Dad, I look at this drawer and smile.
Smile..... because in this drawer.... I see life, I see creativity, I see imagination, I see memories, I see fun.
And I know that someday this "locker" will be empty again.
And that makes me sad.
Out for now......
