Cost of 12 Days

Every year, those wild and crazy folks over at PNC Bank (Wealth Management division) calculate their little brains out and determine the cost of all the items in "The 12 Days of Christmas".

$116,273 this year.
1.4% increase from 2013.

Read the story here:

Two turtle doves, $125; last year: same
Three French hens, $181; last year: $165
Four calling birds (canaries), $600; last year: same
Five gold rings, $750; last year: same

$2,600 for 11 pipers, but $7,500 for just 9 ladies?  Dang, that must be some fancy dancing!

And only $750 for 5 gold rings?  Yeesh.  Musta been purchased at Wal-Mart. Or Big Lots.

Out for now......
