Boston - the terrible choice

You hear Boston has been nominated as the host of the 2024 Summer Olympics?

USA Today put together a very compelling list of 9 reasons why Boston makes absolutely no sense.

1. no infrastructure in place

2. transportation will be a nightmare

3. "Storrow Drive" (sounds like a total driving nightmare)

4. public transit woes

5. no main stadium

6. some blah, blah, blah about a soccer team

7. colleges are going to be responsible for building some of the venues

8. not enough hotels

9. anti-Boston protests have already begun

Very compelling stuff.

Read the details:

There's too much money invested in the Olympics these days. They are more of a spectacular show-off than a sporting event.

Skip Boston.

Pick a city that's already hosted and already has infrastructure in place.
