- total lunar eclipse x 2
- Perseid meteor shower
- dazzling view of Venus (rawrrrrr!)
- cool double planet view x 2
- occultation of Aldebaran (the angry orange eye of Taurus the Bull)
- Taurid fireballs
- Geminid meteor shower
