My desk calendar for 2015 has been chosen:

Years and years and years ago, I became hooked on a comic called "The Far Side".  Some of you may remember it?

My youth pastor Rich and I absolutely loved The Far Side.  Thru the years, we shared many laughs about those comics, which oftentimes focused weird topics and bizarre spins on common, everyday activities/events.

The cartoonist who drew The Far Side retired many moons ago.  You can still buy Far Side merchandise, but it's all rehashed stuff from the original run in the 80's.

So these days, there are 2 cartoons that I like which fall in the same vein as Far Side: "Bizarro" and "Close to Home".

Both of them are a riot.

So crazy stupid somedays that I just have to laugh if for no other reason than "how does someone think this stuff up?".

So, I'm set with my daily laugh, chuckle, snort, etc. for the next 354 days.
