Picture 1/30: Purple Bulldog

We were out in Bement tonight for a volleyball game.

Now, why did I take a picture of the wall of the opposition's gymnasium?

Well, my hometown's school, the one that I attended from K-12, was also the Bulldogs.

And purple was one of our school colors.

So, this painting of a purple bulldog really hit home for me.

Even more cool is that the style/look of that bulldog is very, very similar to the bulldogs that use to be painted in the Kansas High School gymnasium.

Uncanny actually.

Seeing that purple buldog brought back some great memories of our KHS gym.....

- volleyball games

- donkey basketball

- wiffle ball during P.E.

- doing the announcing at high school basketball games

- all sorts of assemblies

- my H.S. graduation

Yup, that's why I took a picture of Bement's bulldog.
