Last summer, we learned that the roof of the Governor's Mansion in Springfield had some massive leak issues:
Years and years of deferred maintenance are taking their toll.
Now, I read that the beautiful and historic courthouse in Paris Illinois (Edgar County... where I am from) has some bad leak issues:
Again, years and years of deferred maintenance are taking their toll.
It is crazy how government keeps growing and growing..... not realizing that there's not enough money to fund all that growth AND keep all the necessary infrastructure maintained.
When will there be a total failure of a Mississippi River lock ?
When will the next catastrophic bridge collapse occur?
No money folks.
We can't even keep the roof from leaking.
