The funeral for Grandpa Cecil was today.
A cold day out in the graveyard of rural Delavan.
But there was warmth in the tent at the burial plot as family and friends gathered to say goodbye to a truly great man.
My brother-in-law did a wonderful job with the service.
Afterwards, the funeral director presented each of the granddaughters with one of these:
A rose from the beautiful floral spray on top of the casket.
A small memento symbolizing the memories we all share of Grandpa Cecil.
One of our girls has already mentioned about figuring a way to dry and preserve it.
Yeah, let's do that.
