Decatur is in the middle of a contest right now called KRAFT HOCKEYVILLE.
Out of a selection of finalists, we have now been voted into the top 4.
By reaching this point, Kraft is donating a whopping $40,000 to renovate the ice rink at the Decatur Civic Center.
If we end up winning the contest, the number jumps to $150,000.
Everyone seems to be getting into the "hey.... we can win this!!" spirit. I grabbed these 2 pics in downtown Decatur today.....
This contest is super exciting for the rink and for all the hockey kids!
Even the Chicago Blackhawks have been pushing/promo'ing Decatur during their recent games.
We'll find out Saturday afternoon if we made it to the final round (top 2).
