On our recently completed mini-vacation along River Road, we wanted to pick up something to commemorate the trip.
My original thought was an ornament for the Christmas tree.
Then we came across this:
It's a soapstone sculpture, crafted in Kenya, that we found at a free trade store at the foot of the Fenelon Place Elevator in Dubuque.
Considering this trip was in celebration of our 18-year wedding anniversary, the little statue was a perfect find.
