My 3rd grader and I made a Menards run tonight to pick up concrete blocks.

While checking out, I had to make a double-take.

Is it Christmas time already?

Seasons Greetings?

In May?

Whatcha wanna bet that they didn't place an order on time and ran out of their everyday bags?

Or, maybe they found a bunch of boxes of Christmas bags in the back of the supply closet and were told to use them up?

Who knows?

If I was more on the ball, I would have wished the cashier a hearty "MERRY CHRISTMAS".

Ho ho ho.
