Picture 5/9: Baby Kittens

I was down at the "Welcome to Decatur" sign today.... mowing, weeding, and giving the area a general spruce-up.

When I lifted up a section of roses in order to scoop-out dead leaves, I got startled..... thinking I had come across a skunk.

On second look, it wasn't a skunk:

It was 4 adorable baby kittens.

Welcome to Decatur Kittens!

I didn't mess with them for fear that momma cat wouldn't care for that.

I just hope that both she and her kittens stay off of Route 48.
