We had a section of shelving come crashing down in our closet today.
Nothing damaged.
No cats injured.
Since everything was having to be rehung anyway, I took the opportunity to sort thru these:
Yes, my ties.
We no longer have to wear them at work -- for like the last 4-5 years.
So it was long overdue time to weed.
End result: I kept around 20 and am passing around 50 on to the Salvation Army.
Many of the 50 are ones that my father-in-law had passed to me when he weeded his tie collection several years ago.
From a store rack to a closet to a different closet back to a store rack.
Ahhhh.... the circle of tie-fe.
