Marijuana Job

According to this article by Alexia Elejalde-Ruiz of the Chicago Tribune, plenty of pot jobs are now coming available.

I found the whole discussion about "budtender" and "budtending seminar" to be very interesting.

And this.......

"PharmaCann and several other companies emphasized that more than experience, they are seeking certain character traits: integrity, strong work ethic, reliability, organizational skills, passion for the medicinal potential of the product, and the ability to follow rules.
Prior cannabis experience is not a prerequisite, many say — and in some cases can be a liability.  One of the quirks of applying for a marijuana job is that touting familiarity with the product, either from using it or growing it, could hurt your chances."

There's going to be one of the marijuana cultivation centers in my wife's hometown of Delavan.  We were by there  earlier this week, and it's well-underway with the building up and all sorts of construction equipment visible from Route 122.

Whatever your stance on the medical marijuana issue, this evolving and expanding industry is bringing a slew of jobs.

And real help for hurting people.
