Remember when I featured the first sunflower of the season here on MattChat:
Well, here is the last sunflower of the season:
Yup, the sunflowers in my garden are done for the year.
Just as the corn in the central Illinois fields is losing its beautiful green color, my sunflower plants are pale and limp.
The growing season is over.
Fall is upon us.
