I saw a lot of cool things at Decatur Celebration #DC15 this weekend.
A lot of things that made me smile.
But none made me smile more than this one:
The young man inside the costume (on a very humid afternoon) was so stoked about the role he was playing for the Salvation Army.
He popped off his head and excitedly told me about how many cars had turned into the parking lot because of him doing his thing out on the street corner.
He seemed very proud (or shocked??) to have me take his photo.
It was very cool to get to shake his hand..... or paw. But, I (sadly) didn't catch his name.
Oh how it made me smile to see his big smile.
