Who serves the best burger and fries?
According to a just-released survey from Chicago Business......
Burger:
#1 5 Guys
#2 Burger King
#3 Wendy's
Fries:
#1 McDonalds (IN A LANDSLIDE)

I am absolutely not in agreement with McDonalds having the best fries. 5 Guys fries are so so so much better.
And Burger King has the #2 burger? Not sure I understand that one.
Culvers is not on here, but I presume that is because they are considered a regional chain, rather than a national one. Their fries are awesome. Way better than McD's.
And Steak-n-Shake isn't on here either, probably because they are more "diner" than "fast-food".
One fascinating paragraph from the article linked above:
"(McDonalds) has incredible reach, with more outlets than any other chain except Subway. Over a recent seven-day period, 31.0 percent of diners who visited a fast-food restaurant chose McDonald's. That's more than the two next-closest competitors, Burger King (15.4 percent) and Taco Bell (13.1 percent), combined. On top of that, nearly half of all 610 respondents had visited McDonald's at least once in the past month."
Mickey D's is still king, it appears. Definitely King of the Fries...... at least according to those who took this survey.
