Today after church, we dropped by Rock Springs Nature Center to walk thru their "Prairie Celebration".
There was lots of neat stuff going on -- basketweaving, gunsmithing, carving, etc.
You know..... pioneer stuff.
And there was a lady working the spinning wheel -- not spinning straw into gold though. Darnit.
The girls were especially interested in the "pioneer" running the potter's wheel.
Not interested in his craft necessarily. Interested in him. ;)
Lunch for the pioneer crew was being roasted:
Looks like some type of prairie chicken varmit.
