So....... being the little amateur gardener that I am, I tried something.
I take great pride in keeping my marigolds deadheaded thru-out the growing season.
With the marigolds in a couple of our pots dying an early death from some type of white fungusy condition, I took some of those deadheads and planted them.
And ended up with Summer 2015 Generation 2:
Unfortunately, the freeze predicted for this weekend is likely gonna kill them.
But, it was fun to see the second-generation little guys flower out.
