We visited a couple flea markets up in Joliet today.
This was by far the better of the 2:
Yes, Big John was there.
Nice guy.
Loves to chat with his customers.
And loves to sell stuff, as his prices were reasonable and negotiable.
From chatting with him, I learned that he gets most of his stuff by buying whole estates.
Goes in and makes an offer for all contents of a house.
Then brings all that stuff to his shop.
He said he does 12-15 houses a year. And that's on top of his regular job.
Big John had one of the best license plates that I've seen in awhile:
No doubt he loves what he does.
When we're back in the area, we'll definitely stop again.
