We were blessed by friends today who got us tickets to the Illini football game.

The day started off with a great U of I band performance.  Then a group of 4 aerialists (i.e. dudes with parachutes) jumped from a plane southwest of Memorial Stadium and landed at mid-field.

And look what awesomeness they did at halftime:

I had seen one of these field-covering flags multiple times on TV, but to see one in person..... WOW!  what a sight!!

Beautiful day to take in a football game.
