The St. Louis Arch turned 50 this year.

I had always heard that the planning, financing, and construction of the Arch was nothing short of a saga.

So, I decided to read a little bit about it and ordered this book in at the library:

So far, it's been a good read.  And I'd definitely agree that the story of the Arch is a saga.

Best thing about the book?

208 pages.  72 chapters.  Equals less than 3 pages per chapter.

History in short snippets.  Thank you Mr. Merkel.
