I have many great memories of time spent in the Paris Illinois McDonalds.
Meals with the family.
Cheap sundaes on Sunday.
And lots of smiles from Shirley Camp, the McD team member who greeted customers, kept tables clean, and was a general ambassador of good will.
The building has been gone for quite some time, having been replaced by a shiny-new "modern" facility.
So imagine my shock when this appeared on eBay:
UNREAL!
This painted mural was at the back of the building..... I think in the party room. Maybe right outside it.
How cool it is for memories of the past to come rolling-back when stimulated by some visual reminder.
The wonders of the mind.
