Chicago Christmas Trip

My lovely wife and I took a day-trip today to Chicago, riding the Amtrak to/from Bloomington.

Some highlights:
- saw Union Station beautifully decorated for the holidays and walked the stairs that Kevin Costner did in "The Untouchables"
- hustled and bustled up-and-down the crazy crowded sidewalks of Michigan and State
- stood at the end of Route 66
- ate brunch at Beef and Brandy (my "Lumberjack" frittata was AWESOME)
- rode CTA buses 22 and 151
- took in a play called "Private Lives" at the Ruth Page Theater
- ate at MBurger for supper, including a delicious candy cane shake
- visited the cool Lego Store
- was asked to be photographer for a group of 6 (3 couples) with Water Tower in the background

Below are some shots I snapped.

Out for now......
